Daniel J. Flynn of Quincy, helped raise more than $45,000 to benefit the St. Mary of the Hills School in Milton at an event Saturday held at Boston College High School. Items went up for auction such as a bicycle, a grill, to four tickets to a Red Sox-Yankees game. Money from the event will be used to help pay for educational items such as books and desks for the school, which has students from pre-kindergarten to the 8th grade. Click Photo for Gallery.
Daniel J. Flynn of Quincy, auctioned off one of a kind license plates in the name of charity. The event took place at the Fenway Park State Pavilion and celebrities like Shonda Schilling, Luis Tiant, Carl Yastrzemski and many others were there for the good cause. Proceeds from the auction as well as overall sales of the Fenway Park License Plate will benefit Mini Fenway Park, a half-sized replica of Bostons fabled ballpark to begin construction in late spring. The event was a charity for Latoure's Spring Reception and had some big names such as Mayor Menino, Joseph Fallon and Mr. and Mrs. McNeice.
